We completed R&D of the “Universal Control Center”

We successfully completed the final phase of an EU-funded research project under the Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovation for Competitiveness, APLIKACE – Call VII.

The project “Research and development of a universal control center for comprehensive control of energy generation from RES and CHP with battery storage and EV charging while respecting low-voltage consumption” (Reg. No. CZ.01.1.02/0.0/0.0/19_262/0020232) started in January 2020, ran in three stages and was completed at the end of 2022. It is currently in the sustainability period.

The goal was to develop an ideal control system enabling efficient control of energy sources (PV, CHP, wind) and suitable charging/discharging of batteries to ensure continuous and reliable LV operation.

The resulting Universal Control Center offers broad functionality — production/consumption control, cloud online analytics, monitoring, alarms & ALERT states, automatic energy management, backup power function, billing & tariffs, and detailed statistics & modeling.

NWT a.s. (Zlín) was the consortium partner.
