In August 2025, we commissioned the first JinKO SunGiga battery energy storage system in the Czech Republic. The installation is part of the modern logistics center of MALFINI a.s. in Ostrava, where we had previously delivered a large rooftop and façade PV plant of almost 800 kWp.
MALFINI a.s. is a leading European distributor of promotional textiles and accessories. For its logistics center, it decided to build an integrated energy system combining photovoltaics, battery storage and advanced load control. We have been working on the project long-term — from design and documentation, through permitting and subsidy support, to turnkey delivery.
The SunGiga unit provides 100 kW inverter power and 215 kWh capacity. The outdoor design with liquid-cooled battery modules ensures long lifetime and high safety. We configured all parameters to match the Czech grid and regulatory requirements.
A key element is our control platform METRICA by YOUNG4ENERGY, providing production monitoring, predictive control and consumption optimization, including peak shaving to reduce demand charges.
For this site we also designed a custom mounting frame with locking feet and terrain-leveling base that can be reused elsewhere. The delivery included complete cabling, grid protection and cabinet cooling.
