We continue to adopt endangered species. This year we support the Caracal
Supporting nature conservation is a long-term commitment for us at YOUNG4ENERGY. Just as we strive to modernize the energy sector and seek sustainable solutions in the world of technology, we want to contribute where nature itself is concerned. That is why we are continuing our adoption of animals at the Ostrava Zoological Garden and Botanical Park this year.
Last year we adopted a serval, but since this beautiful species left for another European zoo as part of a breeding program, Zoo Ostrava offered us the opportunity to take over the adoption of a related species – the caracal. And we didn't hesitate.
A small big story from our visit
Our colleagues and their children regularly visit the Ostrava Zoo – many of them even have season tickets. During one of their November visits, they experienced something extraordinary. The caracal enclosure was closed, and the reason was beautiful – three caracal cubs were recently born at Zoo Ostrava.
Zoos play an irreplaceable role in the protection of endangered species, in professional care, and in education. Supporting these activities is one of the simplest ways we can directly contribute to the protection of biodiversity.
We continue on
We are glad to be part of something bigger – and that through adoption, we participate in the breeding of a species that is thriving in Ostrava right now. Supporting the zoo is a small step, but it brings great significance.
We thank Zoo Ostrava for their cooperation and everyone who takes nature conservation support as part of their daily responsibility.
