BILLA, spol. s r.o. is a major retail chain with a nationwide network of food stores, long committed to sustainable development and reducing its carbon footprint. YOUNG4ENERGY is BILLA's partner for the development of photovoltaic systems and renewable energy projects at individual stores across the Czech Republic.
Since 2022, we have processed dozens of design documentations for building permits and construction execution, with capacities mostly between 50–100 kWp. The projects are part of a store modernization program and a transition to sustainable energy operation. Locations include Slaný, Říčany, Frýdek-Místek, Třebíč, Český Těšín, Roudnice nad Labem, Libochovice, Velké Meziříčí, Prague–Chodov, Prague–Modřany and others.
Interesting projects include BILLA Třebíč, featuring an innovative 39.56 kWp PV plant using lightweight and flexible foil panels. This solution allowed installation on a structurally challenging roof with limited load-bearing capacity. The system meets the highest fire and cyber security requirements and covers approximately 20% of the store's electricity consumption.
YOUNG4ENERGY provided design documentation (DSP, DPS), complete engineering, supplier coordination, technical consulting and author’s supervision. All projects emphasize maximum efficiency, safety and operational reliability.
