
The investment fund LUCROS SICAV a.s. implemented a PV and storage project at the SIKO KOUPELNY a.s. store in Čimelice.
SIKO KOUPELNY a.s. is a Czech family company and one of the largest retailers of bathroom and kitchen equipment in Central Europe. For its Čimelice branch, the company chose a modern energy solution to achieve greater self-sufficiency. The goal was to reduce operating costs and ensure the effective use of renewable energy sources.
The project involved the installation of a 795.7 kWp PV plant and a 653.58 kWh battery system. The system is designed to maximize the use of generated electricity, manage storage efficiently and smooth out demand peaks, ensuring stable and economical operation of the store.
YOUNG4ENERGY provided the feasibility study, design documentation (DSP), complete engineering, author’s supervision and technical supervision for the investor LUCROS SICAV a.s. Cooperation also included grant advisory, BESS legalization and preparation of bids for balancing services (SVR). The project was successfully completed and commissioned.
